What To Expect

What to Expect

During your first visit you will discuss a detailed history of your problem including any previous episodes that you may have had and any relevant questions regarding your general health. Following this a physical assessment will be made to determine the diagnosis of your presenting complaint. During this time, you may need to undress so that the physiotherapist can examine the problem and surrounding areas more accurately. We suggest that you wear loose,  comfortable clothing that does not restrict your movement would be suitable for treatment sessions. You can bring a change of clothes if desired, T-shirts and shorts are a good choice. Following this assessment, a clinical diagnosis will be determined and an appropriate treatment course will be discussed with you. To ensure you have enough time to ask questions and to obtain an accurate diagnosis, the initial assessment will take between 45 to 55 minutes and where appropriate include some treatment.
